This thick and creamy chocolate peanut butter smoothie tastes like a decadent milkshake but is made with simple, wholesome ingredients. Rich cocoa flavor, nutty peanut butter, and a perfectly smooth texture come together in minutes—making it ideal for a quick breakfast, post-workout fuel, or healthy dessert. If you’re craving something indulgent yet nourishing, this smoothie delivers big flavor in every sip.
The best part about this vegan milkshake? It is healthy! This guilt-free breakfast milkshake is so awesome because it has lots of healthy stuff like:
- Potassium
- Fiber
- Omega-3
- Magnesium
- Iron
Only 6 simple ingredients is all it takes to make this breakfast smoothie thick and creamy like the perfect milkshake. Frozen bananas are the key here, so make sure to keep peeled frozen bananas in the freezer!
Oats add filling fiber to slow the digestion of carbs from the intestine. This way, you will get a steady release of energy instead of a sugar high and crash. Healthy fats from the peanut butter and hemp seeds further slow digestion and provide a steady release of energy to keep you going until your next meal.

Description
A thick and creamy smoothie that tastes indulgent, but is really healthy! This smoothie may just be your new favorite on-the-go breakfast or post-workout snack.
Ingredients
- 2 small frozen bananas (~200 grams), peeled (see notes)
- 1 cup non-dairy milk
- 1 Tablespoon hemp seeds
- 1 Tablespoon peanut butter (sub 2 Tablespoons peanut butter powder for lower fat)
- 2 teaspoons cacao powder
- 1/3 cup rolled oats
Instructions
- Add all ingredients to a blender and blend on high until smooth and creamy.
- If it is too thick, add more non-dairy milk or water 1/4 cup at a time and blend.
- Enjoy!
Notes
Frozen bananas: Freezing bananas first makes the smoothie creamier than using fresh bananas. Peel bananas and break into 1 to 2-inch pieces and store them in a bag in the freezer for quick smoothies anytime.
